FOUNDER
Rahul Ramesh
Rahul is grade 12 student at The International School Bangalore having completed his IGCSE at Greenwood High International School. His favorite subjects are math, physics and history. He is also a keen programmer having taught himself Java and Python and is looking forward to learning newer languages such as GO and those related to AI / ML. Outside of academics, Rahul is passionate about soccer and gaming. He loves the discipline, training and teamwork involved in soccer and was the captain of his U16 boys school team last year. When he was in 8th grade, he was a founding member of the technical team at Twinleaf Entertainment where he led quality control and testing of each aspect of the games for any potential glitches. His technical leadership led to him being repeatedly consulted for ideas to improve game functionality and performance.
Currently, Rahul is working on three mobile games congruent to the ActionFreeplay philosophy: leveraging the smartphone and other video game platforms to address environmental issues such as pollution, water scarcity and climate change. His love for gaming is not just limited to the honing his own skill set as a game creator, but also encourage others to inculcate basic skills in game creation. The activity book that he has developed: 'Gaming with Pen and Paper' represents exactly this intersection of interests: approaching game development through simple exercises like goals, characters, storylines and trouble-shooting when it comes to the conceptualisation stage of a game. Compassionate and cerebral, Rahul's ardent spirit is what sets him apart: on the soccer field, in school, or in the realm of social work.
